SENSIT Data Collector

The Data Collector is the central communication unit that collects raw data from the individual SENSIT Nodes via wireless communication. It is the interface between the Nodes and the host system.

The actual status (occupancy) of the SENSIT Nodes is collected by one or more SENSIT Data Collectors. The Data Collector transmits status information about the nodes to the host system through RS232 or Ethernet
communication.

Communication range:	From SENSIT Node to Data Collector the sensors communicate to each other. The nearest node should be positioned within 25 meters [82 ft] of the Data Collector. It is possible to install multiple Data Collectors in one parking facility.
