What are driver based tags?

For real security and peace of mind, you must not only identify an approaching vehicle, but also the driver inside. With a Nedap AVI driver based security system, you are assured a vehicle can never get access to a secured area unless occupied by an authorized driver. A Booster is used in combination with a personal access credential.  

Why driver based tags?

Secure automatic driver identification up to 33 ft [10 m]. Driver based identification expands the protection zone beyond your building’s  doors to the perimeter of your property.  Applications include airport and port security, defense, utility, corporate and education campuses, police, fire brigades, public transport vehicles and other installations where vehicles must be assigned to a specific driver. It is an easy to integrate solution for vehicle access, which eliminates the need to issue new cards.
